About Us

I am really pleased to welcome you to makemycontent.com. My name is Alex and this domain name and website was my very first project as a freelance online marketer and content creator. I was writing articles for online marketers and webmasters for $5 a shot back when I first started out (and being from the UK, that may as well have been pennies). Things have certainly changed a lot since then. I have learnt how to setup/create clean/good-looking websites, manage affiliate campaigns/projects, and launch SEO and online marketing projects and manage PPC accounts. I have worked mostly in direct marketing operations online but have recently turned my hand to managing social/viral marketing campaigns and more socially-based web properties including one up-and-coming social network.

I also don’t work alone anymore. I work with a good friend and business partner Jamie. We met at school, played in a band together and have been scheming for many years now about setting up our own business. His background academically and vocationally was in marketing and he is incredibly passionate about this industry. He has great eye for design and online visual presence, and every now and then, he edits a mean video! My academic background is in law, but my vocational experience has been online marketing and technologies (and this says a lot for some one who always used to be such a huge technophobe).

Together, we setup AJM Digital Ltd. It’s a Digital marketing agency in the heart of the North East of England, servicing clients from all over the UK. MakeMyContent.Com is a sister website and side project to that venture.

This blog/website is all about viral marketing and getting your brand out to the masses. We’re going to be sharing techniques and tactics small businesses can use to harness viral marketing to help spread their message across the web to a very small, diverse or large market (whatever takes your fancy really).
